Drew Barrymore = Sunshine
Drew Barrymore wore an Alexander McQueen yellow cinched waist dress with a full skirt that was covered with black lace. the look brought a modern twist on a classic look. I think Drew looks amazing in this dress and the creation was very eccentric.

Marc Jacobs Spring 2010 ready to wear
Marc Jacobs debuted his Spring 2010 collection. The collection consisted of a pastelle color pallete and lots of feminine silhouettes. Military jackets were paired with long flowy skirts and belted trenches were layered over leotards.

Dusen Dusen

Dusen Dusen is a fun dress collection created by 23 year old Ellen Van Dusen. Dusen was inspired by vivid hues because of the brain's reaction to imagery. Dusen uses bright colors because "our brain associates contrasting colors with pleasure, we are drawn to them." The collection consists of fun, retina-popping tiger patterns, aztec moticfs, sun-bright yellows, and navajo prints. Much of Dusen's work can find inspiration from the abstract Color Field painting movement of the '40s and '50s, as well as work from the contemporary Brazilian multimedia artist Assume Vivid Astro Focus. Additionally, Dusen sews every piece in her collection herself, even though her items are selling out of stores. Van Dusen plans to debut her collection in Spring 2010 with a less vivid collection. The color palette will include black, white and turquoise.
Dont Miss the Marc
Fashion Guru, Marc Jacobs, has added yet another line to his impressive lists of collections. The collection, called "Dont Miss the Marc," is an 8-piece budget friendly collection that consists of t-shirts, leggings, scarves, blazers, and skirts all retailing for under $200.

Snuggie holding fashion show during fashion week

Proving there's nothing the Snuggie can't do, nowhere the Snuggie can't go, and no fashion barrier the Snuggie can't break, the blanket with sleeves is having its very own fashion show this Fashion Week. Our invite reads:
Amid the glitz and glamour of New York Fashion Week, Snuggie™ will host a runway show of its own, taking center stage to showcase the latest colors, fabrics and patterns. Celebrity host Ross “The Intern” Mathews will dish about the sexiest looks in blanket-wear and adult, kid and even canine models will hit the runway.
Emphasis ours because wow. We should have known they'd eventually come up with enough styles to put on an entire runway show after they unveiled the Snoggie, the Snuggie for dogs. Laziness has reached a new fashion extreme. It terrifies, enthralls, and excites us. Imagine what they can do for spring 2010: trendy sheer-paneled Snuggies, embellished Snuggies, animal-print Snuggies, Snuggies for cats. We just hope we're important enough to the Snuggie people to get a front-row seat.
