Marchesa's Resort 2011 Collection was filled with tons of tribal printed dresses that had lots of intricate detailing such as bold beading, fringe, and feathers. The shocking use of color, such as yellow, and the use of bold details, adds some light to what is usually a neutral colored resort collection.

2010 CFDA Awards
This year's CFDA Award winners were none other than Marc Jacobs, winning Womenswear designer of the year, Rag & Bone's designers took home Menswear designer of the Year, and Alexis Bittar received honor for Accessory Designer of the Year.
Emerging designer to the stars, Jason Wu, picked up a Swarvoski award for womenswear. Grungy designer Alexander Wang received the Swarvoski Award for Accessory design, and Richard Chai won for menswear.
Stylish celebrities in attendance of the CFDA were Jessica Biel, Dakota Fanning, who looked adorable in a little white strapless dress, Gwyneth Paltrow looked sophisticated-chic in a form-fitting shiny black cut-out gown, and Rachel Weisz looked very classy in her orchid-coloured structured dress.
All the hottest models were in attendance as well, sporting the nominated designers creations. The Olson Twins even made an appearance.

Oscar De La Renta Resort 2011
Oscar De La Renta's Resort 2011 collection was filled with tons of classic pieces for both everyday wear and beautiful gowns for red carpet events. The color palette consisted mainly of blacks, whites, and reds with a few hints of orange and sea-foam green. Dresses were spiced up with sequins for the evening and voluminous gowns had lots of detail in the construction of the overall garment. Models also walked down the runway holding I-Pads and the runway show was streamed online as well.
