Milan Fashion Week: Moschino Cheap & Chic Spring 2010

Sonia Rykiel for H & M

H & M just announced that Sonia Rykiel will be designing a lingerie collection and a knitwear collection for women, as well as accessories. The designs will hit floors February 2010, but I am already looking forward to it.

Milan Fashion Week: Alberta Ferreti Spring 2010

Alberta Ferreti's Spring 2010 Collection was sheer femininity. The color palette had lots of neutral colors; shades of taupe, cream, mauve, and camel. Most pieces from the collection were tapered with a belt at the waist, giving the garment a nipped waist, and then flowed with lots of soft silks and sheer fabrics that were embroidered with elegant floral details.

Milan Fashion Week: Bottega Veneta Spring 2010

Bottega Veneta's Spring collection was very glamorous. There were vibrant colors; bright reds; bright magentas, oranges; there was also a lot of white accented with browns and yellows. The collection consisted of ready-to-wear and evening wear, even beautiful, silk organza gowns that would be perfect for a red carpet event. There were lots of sexy day outfits, such as the loose fitting cream coloured dresses that are ideal for sunny days in LA. Bottega Veneta always maintains an elegant, feminine look that is represented in the silhouettes of the garments.

Milan Fashion Week: Dolce and Gabbana Spring 2010

Dolce & Gabbana always have a sexy yet somewhat victorian inspired collection. The Spring 2010 collection consisted of lots of lace, in black and white, layered one-over-another (one of my favorite dresses is the black and white lace, mid-length, camisole dress) ; ruffled babydoll dresses, surreal print bubble shorts and bubble dresses, sheer dresses that expose built-in undergarments, and sexy, red-leopard print dresses.
