I am a huge jewelry fanatic and when I saw Cara Couture, I was immediately intrigued by the vibrant colors, edgy feel, and bold appearance. Brightly colored multi-stranded beaded necklaces and eye-catching cocktail rings are a few of the key items from Cara Couture

Givenchy Fall 2010 Ads

Here is the first look at Givenchy's Fall 2010 ads. Nine male and female artists were cast for the campaign, including, "Mariacarla Boscono, Joan Smalls, Ming Xi, Catherine McNeil, Malgosia Bela (her hair dyed pink for the occasion), plus his Brazilian longtime personal assistant and former fit model, who also happens to be transgender, Lea T. Lea".

I really enjoy the heroin chic, punk rock look of the campaign and the choice of color. Red is always an eye catching color, and Givenchy's use of blood red captivates the viewer.

2010 Costume Institute Ball

Last year's Costume Institute Ball was themed "model as muse" and designers walked down the red carpet accompanied by a model in the designer's creation. This year, the theme was American women. The majority of women in attendance wore floor-length gowns. Sarah Jessica Parker, Kate Bosworth, Diane Kruger, and Claire Danes all wore floor length gowns. One notable look from the evening was supermodel Giselle's fringed Alexander Wang mini dress.
