Dior's Resort 2011 Collection was shown in China and the mood was mod and charming. Bubblegum pinks, shocking purple, and pastels stood out amongst the hues of grey, black, and white. Pintucked blouses were nipped at the waist and flared at the hip, resembling an outfit Bridgit Bardot would have worn back in the sixties. Flowy babydoll dresses in pastel colors, some with scalloped ruffles, others trapeze shape, all were short and had a go-go girl feel. More serious look included three piece androgynous suits worn with ties and fedoras. The prom-style gowns remind me of Las Vegas in the seventies.
