3.1 by Phillip Lim Fall 2010

Phillip Lim is one of my all time favorite designers. He understands what women want to wear and always knows how to make tres chic looks for women. For his Fall 2010 collection, Lim uses tons of animal prints- cheetah printed motorcycle jackets with leather sleeves, giraffe printed 70s inspired pant suits, and Falls most popular trend, the animal printed handbag!. He also uses a 70s scooby doo color palette- burnt orange, rust, gold dust, blush, hot pink, burgundy- that was quite unique and gave the collection a fun, vintage vibe. There were also two violet pieces that popped out- the violet jumper and and asymmetrical tunic.
